Appreciate

People need to feel appreciated. Appreciated with "thank you" when they give us something, when they sacrifice their time for us, when they help us, when they give advice for us. Appreciated with "sorry" when we do wrong, when we can't help them although they really need us at that time.

It does hurt, and it doesn't feel good, when you feel like you've given too much but instead you received so little as the return, then you feel like everything you did before was a waste. Not talking about reward or what. But after all, we're all humans. We all want to be respected for who we are and for everything we've done, no matter how little and maybe how insignificant is. Because they all worth our time and our effort, right?

We have to learn how to appreciate everyone around us. From the simplest things... Like saying "thank you" after you ask someone to get you something which takes their time more than you know. Or simply fulfill their requests, while remembering how they always try to fulfill yours. Or maybe, control your words whenever you speak to them. Your words can possibly hurt them in some ways you never know.

Be more sensitive.
